Microsoft Project 2016 I am using the Visual Reports dialog box to generate a Cash Flow Report which works fine. I save it as an excel file and go back to work in it. Regards, Zixuan. My steps were not the same. I was selecting View then saving the Excel file then reopening the saved excel file. I did your steps and selected Save Data > Save Cube > Open Excel > Open Cube File, this gives me the option to build a Pivot Table using the data however why can't I just use the template Cash Flow Report instead of having to build another one? If I save the Excel file from the View option, shouldn't I be able to go back to that file, open it and it stay connected to the Task Usage.cub file? It seems to be losing connection. Another item, tell me if I need to ask another question, is I am adding Baseline9 Cost to the fields I want to include in the report but when I edit the PivotChart, Baseline9 Cost doesn't show up under Values that I can select. Please advise. Hi Scott, Thanks for the information you provided. I have tried to repro again according to your description but still can not get the error message as you.
